Paying for therapy is more affordable than you might think. I am a network provider with many major insurance plans and Employee Assistance Programs and accept cash and card payments. Other payment options are available for individuals with no insurance.
For anyone choosing to utilize insurance for payment, I do recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- What are my in network and out of network benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
While I do accept insurance, some clients prefer to pay out of pocket and submit their own insurance claims for direct reimbursement. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. If you decide to pay my full fee directly to me at time of service, I will provide you with a receipt called a “Superbill” which you would submit to your insurance company for them to reimburse you directly at the rate of your coverage. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Payment
Payment is due at time of service. I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
